The State of Mississippi and Tennessee have agreed to a contract with Caterpillar Inc. and National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA).



The statewide (MS & TN) NJPA agreement has been awarded to Caterpillar Inc., represented by the local Cat dealer, Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation. The contract represents an innovative approach to procure equipment, which matches the needs and specifications of State and local government entities. Previous statewide equipment contracts required specific equipment configurations. The new statewide contract allows State and local government entities to configure each machine to fit their application needs, while receiving a discount off of list price. The NPJA agreement helps governmental agencies procure high-quality assets with fewer resources, while benefitting from the support of your local Cat dealer, Thompson Machinery.
